We occasionally offer small numbers of chicks, started pullets and older hens for sale.
We do not keep a list, but rather post them here and on our social media pages
on a first come, first served basis.

A note on pullet pricing

Many people wish to purchase pullets that are just reaching laying age. We do occasionally offer pullets in the late summer, after we have grown out our flock replacements and have birds that don't quite make the cut for the breeding flocks. Those used to buying pullets bred and raised by a hatchery have asked why our birds are so expensive. A strong local farm economy relies on customers being willing to help support the true costs of raising poultry in an ethical, humane and regenerative manner. These birds have spent six months on our farms, meaning over half a year of daily labor making sure they are healthy and happy in a pasture-based environment. Please know that our pricing reflects the amount of time, care, and high-quality inputs (like organic, non-GMO feed) that have gone into each and every one of our birds. This is in addition to the careful maintenance of our breeder flocks and the managing of our pastures and fencing.
